Peru is situated in the South America, surrounded by Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia and the Pacific Ocean. The Coast is mainly arid and plain, with very low precipitation, high humidity and medium-to-high temperatures. The Mountains are represented by the famous Andes, where the highest peak, Huascarán, reaches over 6,500m. The temperatures can vary, but are normally low, with low humidity and rain during the summer. The Jungle (Amazon) makes up for about 60% of the Peruvian territory and has the usual tropical weather: high temperature, high humidity and heavy rain. With such a diversity there's plenty to visit in Peru. Visiting PeruPeru has a large territory, so it's naturally well equipped with airports in all major cities.
